The project was developed by Huaneng Tuoshigan River Hydropower Branch Co and is currently owned by Huaneng Xinjiang Energy Development with a stake of 100%.
Biedieli is a run-of-river project. The project generated 877 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $307.5m.
The hydro power project consists of 8 turbines, each with 31MW nameplate capacity.
The project has 8 electric generators installed at the site. The generator capacity is 31 MVA.
