Boulder Solar PV Park is a 125MW solar PV power project. It is located in Nevada, the US. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in December 2016.

Description

The project was developed by Korea Midland Power and SunPower. Southern Power and New Energy Solar are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.

Boulder Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 542 acres.

The project generates 279,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 28,500 households, offsetting 210,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $206.107m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to NV Energy under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 100MW.

SunPower was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.

SunPower was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 288,000 modules at the site.

The project is utilising horizontal single axis trackers supplied by SunPower.

SunPower is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
