Buhairah – Tabouk/Tabarjal Line, Saudi Arabia

Buhairah – Tabouk/Tabarjal Line is a 380kV overhead line with a length of 20km from Al Buhairah Substation, Tabouk, Northern Borders, Saudi Arabia, to Tapping point of Tabouk – Tabarja Line, Northern Borders, Saudi Arabia.

The project, which is currently in the planning stage, is expected to be commissioned in 2022.

Description

Buhairah – Tabouk/Tabarjal Line is an overhead line that will be operated by Saudi Electricity. The line will carry alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.

Approximately $15.3m was financed by the authorities to undertake the construction works of the project.

The construction works on the Buhairah – Tabouk/Tabarjal Line project will be commenced in 2021 and commissioning is expected in 2022.

Al Haider Co For Trading and Contracting was appointed by Saudi Electricity to undertake the construction works on the Buhairah – Tabouk/Tabarjal Line project.
