Buranga Geothermal Power Station is a 100MW geothermal power project. It is planned in Western, Uganda. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2025.

The geothermal site has in total 3 number of production wells. Buranga Geothermal Power Station will run at a temperature of 200 Degree Celsius.
The project cost is expected to be around $42m.
