Calabar Thermal Power Station is a 562.5MW gas fired power project. It is located in Cross River, Nigeria. The project is currently active. It has been developed in multiple phases. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 2015.

Contractors Involved

Marubeni Engineering (West Africa) was selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company supplied 9E model gas turbines for the project.

GE Power supplied electric generator for the project.
