Cambutas – Bita Line is a 400kV overhead line with a length of 172km from Cambutas, Kwanza North, Angola, to Bita, Luanda, Angola.

The project, which is currently under construction, is expected to be commissioned in 2025.

Description

Cambutas – Bita Line is an overhead line that will be operated by Rede Nacional de Transporte de Electricidade. The line will carry alternating current (AC) through single circuit cable.

Approximately $134.2m was financed by the authorities to undertake the construction works of the project.

The development of the Cambutas – Bita Line project has been approved by the Institute for Electricity Regulation.
