The project is being developed and currently owned by Cattle Ridge Wind Farm.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 69,000 households, to offset 604,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $350m.
The wind power project consists of 50 turbines.
