The project was developed by NextEra Energy Canada and Suncor Energy. The project is co-owned by Fiera Infrastructure and NextEra Energy Canada, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 40,000 households. The project cost is $267.039m.

The power generated from the project is sold to Ontario Power Authority under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years from 2015. The contracted capacity is 100MW.
Contractors Involved
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 46 units of SWT-2.3-113 turbines, each with 2.3MW nameplate capacity.
NextEra Energy Canada and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
