Chaglla is a 456MW hydro power project. It is located on Huallaga river/basin in Huanuco, Peru. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. The project construction commenced in 2011 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2016.

Description

The project was developed by Novonor and is currently owned by China Three Gorges.

Chaglla is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 375 million cubic meter. The net head of the project is 336m. The project generated 2,540 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $1,247m.
