Description

Chalinze Substation – New – 400/220/33 kV project, which is a new substation, will be operated by Tanzania Electric Supply .

The designed voltage level of the substation is 400/220/33kV and the operating voltage level is 400/220/33kV.

The step-in voltage of the project is 400kV and the step-out voltage is 33kV. Upon completion, the substation will have a capacity of 250MVA.

Chalinze Substation – New – 400/220/33 kV project development status

The project is expected to be commissioned in 2022. Approximately $14.45m was financed by the authorities to undertake the construction works of the project.
