Chamera I Substation is a 420kV substation located in Chamera I HEP, Himachal Pradesh, India.


The Chamera I Substation project is a new substation being operated by Power Grid Corporation of India .

The designed voltage level of the project is 420kV, while the operating voltage level is 420kV. The step-in voltage of the substation is 420kV.

Chamera I Substation has received approval from Central Electricity Regulatory Commission to undertake the works on the project.

Bharat Heavy Electricals was appointed by Power Grid Corporation of India to undertake design and construction works of the Chamera I Substation.
