The project was developed by SPAN Consultants and is currently owned by NHPC.

Chamera Phase II is a run-of-river project. The gross head and net head of the project are 267m and 243m respectively. The project generated 1,499.89 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $413.15m.

Power Purchase Agreement

Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam are the power offtakers from the project.

Contractors Involved

Jaiprakash Associates was selected to render EPC services for the hydro power project.

GE Power India was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 units of francis turbines, each with 100MW nameplate capacity.

Bharat Heavy Electricals supplied 3 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 41 MVA.
