Changhua Northwest Zone of Potential 12 is a 582.9MW offshore wind power project. It is planned in Taiwan Strait, Changhua County, Taiwan. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2026.

Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by Orsted Taiwan.
The project cost is expected to be around $3,100.445m. The turbines will be mounted on fixed jacket foundations.
Development Status
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2026.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The offtake capacity is expected to be 582.9MW.
