Construction works on the Chatelard – Nant de Drance Line started in 2017 and the project was commissioned in 2018.


The Chatelard – Nant de Drance Line, which is an underground line, is being operated by Swissgrid. The Chatelard – Nant de Drance Line is a new line. The line carries alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.
