Chirkei – Chiryurt II Line is a 330kV overhead line from Chirkei Hydro Power Plant, Dagestan, Russia, to Chiryurt II, Dagestan, Russia.

The project, which is currently in the planning stage, is expected to be commissioned in 2021.

Description

Chirkei – Chiryurt II Line is an overhead line that will be operated by Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System. The line will carry alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.

Approximately $0.28m was financed by the authorities to undertake the construction works of the project.

About Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System

Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System (FGC UES), is a subsidiary of Rosseti, is an energy company which operates and manages unified national electricity transmission grid system.
