Chonghuan Substation is a 500kV substation located in Shatian Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong, China. The construction works on Chonghuan Substation began in 2020. The project was commissioned in 2021.

Description

The Chonghuan Substation project is a new substation being operated by China Southern Power Grid.

The designed voltage level of the project is 500kV, while the operating voltage level is 500kV. The step-in voltage of the substation is 500kV.

Chonghuan Substation has received approval from State Electricity Regulatory Commission to undertake the works on the project.

Contractors involved

China Energy Construction Group was appointed by China Southern Power Grid to undertake design and construction works of the Chonghuan Substation.
