Description
The project is being developed by Cielos de Tarapaca. Green Climate Fund and Cielos de Tarapaca are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 13% and 8% respectively.
Cielos de Tarapaca Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 1,650 hectares.
The project is expected to generate 1,500GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $425m.
Development Status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2024. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.
