Description

The project is being developed by Cielos de Tarapaca. Others, Green Climate Fund and Cielos de Tarapaca are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 79%, 13% and 8% respectively.

Cielos de Tarapaca Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 1,650 hectares.

The project is expected to generate 1,500GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $425m.

The solar power project consists of 1,055,040 modules.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2023. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by July 2024.
