Description

The project was developed by EDP Renovaveis. EDP Renewables North America and Industrias Penoles SAB de CV are currently owning the project.

The project generates 763GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 300,000 households, offsetting 381,424t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $350m.

The project has 80m high towers.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Industrias Penoles SAB de CV under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years. The contracted capacity is 199.5MW.

Contractors Involved

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 95 units of G114-2.1 MW turbines, each with 2.1MW nameplate capacity.

EDP Renewables North America is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 25 years.
