The project supplies enough clean energy to power 35,000 households, offsetting 156,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $298.5m.

The power generated from the project is sold to New York State Energy Research & Development Authority under a power purchase agreement for a period of 10 years, starting from 2009.
Contractors Involved
M. A. Mortenson was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
Clipper Windpower was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 50 units of Liberty C96 turbines, each with 2.5MW nameplate capacity.
