Description

The project was developed by Commonwealth Edison, Community Energy, Eurus Energy Holdings and Midwest Wind Energy. Leeward Renewable Energy and Eurus Energy Holdings are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 75% and 25% respectively.

The project generates 160,400MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 18,000 households. The project cost is $75m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Exelon under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors Involved

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 33 units of V82-1.65 MW turbines, each with 1.65MW nameplate capacity.
