Description
The project was developed by Three Gorges New Energy Yangjiang Power Generation and is currently owned by China Three Gorges New Energy.
The wind turbines in the project are installed on fixed foundations. An array of three-pile jacket foundations feature in the project.
The project generates 1,084,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 650,000 households, offsetting 920,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $1,115.04m.

CTGNE Yangjiang Shapa Phase 2 (CTGNE Yangjiang Shapa Phase 2 – II) is equipped with Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology turbines. The phase consists of 31 turbines, each with 6.45MW nameplate capacity.
China Water Conservancy And Hydropower Engineering Bureau No.4 has supplied towers for the CTGNE Yangjiang Shapa Phase 2 (CTGNE Yangjiang Shapa Phase 2 – I).
