Daxia is a 324.5MW hydro power project. It is located on Yellow river/basin in Gansu, China. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. The project construction commenced in 1991 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 1996.

The project was developed by Gansu Xiaosanxia Hydro Development. SDIC Power Holdings, Gansu Power Investment Longneng and Gansu Ming Pearl Investment are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 60.32%, 32.23% and 7.45% respectively.
Daxia is a run-of-river project. The project generated 1,558 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $301.9m.
The project construction commenced in 1991 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 1996.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to State Grid Corporation of China under a power purchase agreement.
Zhefu Holding Group was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 1 unit of kaplan turbine with 24.5MW nameplate capacity.
