Description

The project was developed by MBHE African Power, Sturdee Energy and SunEdison. African Infrastructure Investment Managers, African Rainbow Energy And Power and Phakwe Power are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 50.01%, 15% and 15% respectively.

De Wildt Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 185 hectares.

The project generates 123,186MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 18,200 households, offsetting 118,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $92.8m.

The project consists of 169,140 modules, each with 340W nameplate capacity.
