Description

The project is currently owned by Archer Daniels Midland.

It is a Steam Turbine with Cogen power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is bituminous. In case of shortage of bituminous the plant can also run on Subbituminous. The fuel is procured from Illinois.

The project generated 1,066,482MWh of electricity.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in April 1987.

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Coal fired project.

GE Power supplied electric generator for the project.

Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises supplied steam boiler for the Decatur Power Plant (Decatur Power Plant Unit VI).
