The project is being developed by Aldwych Africa Developments, JCM Power and Smart Energies. InfraCo Africa, JCM Power and Smart Energies are currently owning the project.

Djermaya Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 100 hectares.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Societe Nationale d’Electricite du Tchad under a power purchase agreement. The power will be sold at the rate of $0.132kWh for a period of 25 years.

Contractors Involved

Bharat Heavy Electricals is expected to render EPC services for the Djermaya Solar PV Park (Djermaya Solar PV Park 1).

Bharat Heavy Electricals will be the supplier of the PV modules for the Djermaya Solar PV Park (Djermaya Solar PV Park 1). The company is expected to provide 100,320 modules each with 320W of nameplate capacity.

Hitachi Hi-Rel Power Electronics is likely to be the supplier of its NP201i – 1250 KW inverters to the Djermaya Solar PV Park (Djermaya Solar PV Park 1) site.

The project will utilise single axis tracker that are likely to be supplied by Scorpius Trackers.

Bharat Heavy Electricals is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the Djermaya Solar PV Park (Djermaya Solar PV Park 1).
