East Banha Substation is a 500/220kV substation located in Banha, Qalyubia, Egypt. The construction works on East Banha Substation began in 2015. The project was commissioned in 2017.

Description

The East Banha Substation project is a new substation being operated by Egyptian Electricity Transmission.

The designed voltage level of the project is 500/220kV, while the operating voltage level is 500/220kV. The step-in voltage of the substation is 500kV and the step-out voltage is 220kV.

East Banha Substation has received approval from Egyptian Electric Utility and Consumer Protection Regulatory Agency to undertake the works on the project.
