Edmonton Airport Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 627 acres.

The project is expected to generate 200,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 28,000 households. The project is expected to offset 106,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $169m.

The solar power project consists of 340,000 modules.

Development Status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by November 2022.
