Among the technologies, solar accounted for 34 contracts with a 61.8% share, followed by wind with 15 contracts and a 27.3% share and hydro with four contracts and a 7.3% share.

The top issuers of electricity procurement contracts for the month in terms of power capacity involved were:

  1. MP Power Management (India): 1,000MW from one contract
  2. Facebook (United States): 503.8MW from four contracts
  3. Danske Commodities (Denmark): 480MW capacity from one contract.

The top winners of contracts for the month in terms of power capacity involved were:

  1. NHPC (India): 1,300MW from two contracts
  2. SSE Renewables (United Kingdom) and Equinor (Norway): 480MW from one contract
  3. Goldwind Australia Pty (Australia) and Lacour Energy Pty (Australia): 348MW capacity from one contract.
