Comparing contracts activity in electricity procurement segment in different regions of the globe, North America held the top position with 24 contracts and a share of 38.1% during January 2020, followed by Asia-Pacific with 16 contracts and a 25.4% share and Europe with 15 contracts and a 23.8% share.

Solar is leading technology for electricity procurement contracts in January 2020

Among the technologies, solar accounted for 37 contracts with a 54.4% share, followed by wind with 19 contracts and a 27.9% share and hydro with eight contracts and an 11.8% share.
