North America leads electricity procurement activity in January 2021
Comparing contracts activity in electricity procurement segment in different regions of the globe, North America held the top position with 24 contracts and a share of 45.3% during January 2021, followed by Europe with 14 contracts and a 26.4% share and Asia-Pacific with 11 contracts and a 20.8% share.

Solar is leading technology for electricity procurement contracts in January 2021
Among the technologies, solar accounted for 30 contracts with a 51.7% share, followed by wind with 20 contracts and a 34.5% share and thermal with five contracts and an 8.6% share.
