Description

The project was developed by Avangrid Renewables and Greenlight Energy. The project is currently owned by Avangrid Renewables with a stake of 100%.

The project generates 550,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 42,000 households. The project cost is $200m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to The Empire District Electric under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 150MW.

Contractors Involved

M. A. Mortenson was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 100 units of 1.5-77 turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.
