Emden – Osterath HVDC Line (A-Nord Link) is a 525kV underground line with a length of 300km from Emden, Saxony, Germany, to Osterath, Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

The project, which is currently in the planning stage, is expected to be commissioned in 2025.


Emden – Osterath HVDC Line (A-Nord Link) is an underground line that will be operated by Amprion. The line will carry direct current (AC) through double circuit cable.
