Generation Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in March 2021 with 43 contracts and a 41.7% share, followed by Electricity Procurement with 22 contracts and a 21.4% share and Power Plant with 15 contracts and a 14.6% share during the month.

The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was:Supply & Erection with 43 contracts and a 100% share.

Wind is top technology for Europe generation equipment contracts in March 2021

Looking at generation equipment contracts by the type of technology in the Europe region, wind accounted for 31 contracts with a 72.1% share, followed by solar with seven contracts and a 16.3% share and thermal with two contracts and a 4.7% share.
