T&D Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in December 2020 with 32 tenders and a 32% share, followed by Power Plant with 23 tenders and a 23% share and T&D Project with 21 tenders and a 21% share during the month.

The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 17 tenders and a 73.9% share
  2. Consulting & Similar Services: three tenders and a 13% share
  3. Others: two tenders and an 8.7% share
  4. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: one tender and a 4.3% share.

Solar is top technology for Europe power plant tenders in December 2020

Looking at power plant tenders by the type of technology in the Europe region, solar accounted for 16 tenders with a 66.7% share, followed by wind with three tenders and a 12.5% share and thermal with two tenders and an 8.3% share.
