Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in March 2021 with 26 tenders and a 27.7% share, followed by T&D Project with 23 tenders and a 24.5% share and T&D Equipment with 21 tenders and a 22.3% share during the month.

The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 20 tenders and a 76.9% share
  2. Consulting & Similar Services: four tenders and a 15.4% share
  3. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: two tenders and a 7.7% share.

Solar is top technology for Europe power plant tenders in March 2021

Looking at power plant tenders by the type of technology in the Europe region, solar accounted for 18 tenders with a 66.7% share, followed by thermal with seven tenders and a 25.9% share and biopower with one tender and a 3.7% share.

The top issuers of power plant tenders for the month in terms of power capacity involved in Europe were:
