T&D Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in October 2020 with 32 tenders and a 29.1% share, followed by T&D Project with 31 tenders and a 28.2% share and Power Plant with 30 tenders and a 27.3% share during the month.

The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 23 tenders and a 76.7% share
  2. Consulting & Similar Services: four tenders and a 13.3% share
  3. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: three tenders and a 10% share.

Solar is top technology for Europe power plant tenders in October 2020

Looking at power plant tenders by the type of technology in the Europe region, solar accounted for 21 tenders with a 70% share, followed by wind with four tenders and a 13.3% share and thermal with two tenders and a 6.7% share.
