France was the top country in the Europe region for solar technology contracts recorded in April 2020 with 139 contracts and a 90.8% share, followed by Greece with five contracts and a 3.3% share and Spain with five contracts and a 3.3% share.

The top issuers of contracts for the month in terms of power capacity involved in Europe were:

  1. Ministere de l’Environnement, de l’Energie et de la Mer (France): 741.01MW from 126 contracts
  2. The Regulatory Authority for Energy (Greece): 349.94MW from four contracts
  3. Ministere de la transition ecologique et solidaire (France): 94.18MW capacity from 12 contracts.
