The proportion of solar technology contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Project Implementation with 51 contracts and a 75% share
- Power Purchase Agreement: nine contracts and a 13.2% share
- Supply & Erection: five contracts and a 7.4% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: two contracts and a 2.9% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: one contract and a 1.5% share.
France tops Europe solar power contracts activity
France was the top country in the Europe region for solar technology contracts recorded in June 2021 with 42 contracts and a 61.8% share, followed by Spain with nine contracts and a 13.2% share and Sweden with seven contracts and a 10.3% share.

The top issuers of contracts for the month in terms of power capacity involved in Europe were:
- EnBW Energie Baden-Wurttemberg (Germany): 150MW from one contract
- Bord Gais Energy (Ireland): 118MW from one contract
- Elektrani na Severna Makedonija (Macedonia): 100MW capacity from two contracts.

- Blue Elephant Energy (Germany): 150MW from one contract
- Obton (Denmark) and Shannon Energy (Ireland): 118MW from one contract
- Solarpro Holding (Bulgaria), Aquila Capital Management (Germany) and Fortis Enerji Elektrik Uretim (Turkey): 50MW capacity from one contract.
