The proportion of solar technology tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:
- Project Implementation with 86 tenders and an 82.7% share
- Supply & Erection: 12 tenders and an 11.5% share
- Power Purchase Agreement: two tenders and a 1.9% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: two tenders and a 1.9% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: one tender and a 1% share
- Electricity Supply: one tender and a 1% share.
France tops Europe solar power tenders activity
France was the top country in the Europe region for solar technology tenders recorded in Q3 2021 with 39 tenders and a 37.5% share, followed by Poland with 13 tenders and a 12.5% share and the UK with nine tenders and an 8.7% share.

The top issuers of tenders for the quarter in terms of power capacity involved in Europe were:
- Ministere de l’Environnement, de l’Energie et de la Mer (France): 17,325MW from 34 tenders
- Russian Association of Wind Power Industry (Russia): 6,700MW from one tender
