Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in Q1 2022 with 80 contracts and a 30.5% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 62 contracts and a 23.7% share and Electricity Procurement with 57 contracts and a 21.8% share during the quarter.

The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 19 contracts and a 79.2% share
  2. Project Implementation: three contracts and a 12.5% share
  3. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: two contracts and an 8.3% share.

Wind is top technology for Europe T&D equipment contracts in Q1 2022

Looking at T&D equipment contracts by the type of technology in the Europe region, wind accounted for seven contracts with a 70% share, followed by hydro with one contract and a 10% share and nuclear with one contract and a 10% share.
