Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in Q3 2021 with 138 contracts and a 39.1% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 73 contracts and a 20.7% share and Electricity Procurement with 56 contracts and a 15.9% share during the quarter.

The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 20 contracts and a 66.7% share
  2. Project Implementation: six contracts and a 20% share
  3. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: four contracts and a 13.3% share.

Wind is top technology for Europe T&D equipment contracts in Q3 2021

Looking at T&D equipment contracts by the type of technology in the Europe region, wind accounted for nine contracts with a 69.2% share, followed by solar with three contracts and a 23.1% share and hydro with one contract and a 7.7% share.
