Generation Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in Q4 2020 with 125 contracts and a 29.1% share, followed by T&D Equipment with 85 contracts and a 19.8% share and Power Plant with 77 contracts and a 17.9% share during the quarter.

The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 76 contracts and an 89.4% share
  2. Project Implementation: five contracts and a 5.9% share
  3. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: four contracts and a 4.7% share.

Wind is top technology for Europe T&D equipment contracts in Q4 2020

Looking at T&D equipment contracts by the type of technology in the Europe region, wind accounted for nine contracts with a 69.2% share, followed by nuclear with two contracts and a 15.4% share and thermal with one contract and a 7.7% share.
