Generation Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in September 2020 with 52 contracts and a 38.2% share, followed by T&D Equipment with 27 contracts and a 19.9% share and Power Plant with 24 contracts and a 17.6% share during the month.
The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Supply & Erection: 24 contracts and an 88.9% share
- Project Implementation: two contracts and a 7.4% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: one contract and a 3.7% share.
Wind is top technology for Europe T&D equipment contracts in September 2020
Looking at T&D equipment contracts by the type of technology in the Europe region, wind accounted for five contracts with an 83.3% share, followed by thermal with one contract and a 16.7% share.
