T&D Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in Q1 2021 with 74 tenders and a 25.3% share, followed by Power Plant with 73 tenders and a 24.9% share and T&D Project with 68 tenders and a 23.2% share during the quarter.
The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:
- Supply & Erection: 71 tenders and a 95.9% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: two tenders and a 2.7% share
- Project Implementation: one tender and a 1.4% share.
Hydro is top technology for Europe T&D equipment tenders in Q1 2021
Looking at T&D equipment tenders by the type of technology in the Europe region, hydro accounted for two tenders with a 50% share, followed by thermal with one tender and a 25% share and wind with one tender and a 25% share.
