T&D Project stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in Q3 2020 with 83 tenders and a 24.7% share, followed by T&D Equipment with 81 tenders and a 24.1% share and Power Plant with 81 tenders and a 24.1% share during the quarter.
The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:
- Supply & Erection: 80 tenders and a 98.8% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: one tender and a 1.2% share.
Nuclear is top technology for Europe T&D equipment tenders in Q3 2020
Looking at T&D equipment tenders by the type of technology in the Europe region, nuclear accounted for four tenders with a 36.4% share, followed by hydro with three tenders and a 27.3% share and thermal with two tenders and an 18.2% share.
