Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in Q3 2021 with 138 contracts and a 39.1% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 73 contracts and a 20.7% share and Electricity Procurement with 56 contracts and a 15.9% share during the quarter.

The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 23 contracts and a 69.7% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: six contracts and an 18.2% share
  3. Consulting & Similar Services: four contracts and a 12.1% share.

Wind is top technology for Europe T&D project contracts in Q3 2021

Looking at T&D project contracts by the type of technology in the Europe region, wind accounted for seven contracts with a 63.6% share, followed by thermal with two contracts and an 18.2% share and hydro with one contract and a 9.1% share.
