Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in Q3 2020 with 231 contracts and a 40% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 124 contracts and a 21.5% share and T&D Equipment with 101 contracts and a 17.5% share during the quarter.
The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:
- Project Implementation: 15 contracts and a 53.6% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: eight contracts and a 28.6% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: five contracts and a 17.9% share.
Wind is top technology for Europe T&D project contracts in Q3 2020
Looking at T&D project contracts by the type of technology in the Europe region, wind accounted for 11 contracts with an 84.6% share, followed by solar with two contracts and a 15.4% share.
