Generation Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in Q4 2020 with 125 contracts and a 29.1% share, followed by T&D Equipment with 85 contracts and a 19.8% share and Power Plant with 77 contracts and a 17.9% share during the quarter.

The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 18 contracts and a 60% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: six contracts and a 20% share
  3. Consulting & Similar Services: six contracts and a 20% share.

Wind is top technology for Europe T&D project contracts in Q4 2020

Looking at T&D project contracts by the type of technology in the Europe region, wind accounted for 11 contracts with a 100% share.
