T&D Project stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in Q3 2020 with 83 tenders and a 24.7% share, followed by T&D Equipment with 81 tenders and a 24.1% share and Power Plant with 81 tenders and a 24.1% share during the quarter.
The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:
- Project Implementation: 61 tenders and a 73.5% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: 12 tenders and a 14.5% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: ten tenders and a 12% share.
Solar is top technology for Europe T&D project tenders in Q3 2020
Looking at T&D project tenders by the type of technology in the Europe region, solar accounted for three tenders with a 60% share, followed by wind with one tender and a 20% share and hydro with one tender and a 20% share.
